WORKSHOP ON ADVANCES IN CLINICAL NURSING PRACTICE ON SAFE INTRAVENOUS THERAPY
The workshop “Advances in Clinical Nursing Practice on Safe Intravenous Therapy” took place on the morning of May 11, 2024, at the Rex Saigon Hotel, organized by the Vietnam Nurses Association (VNA) in collaboration with B.Braun Company.
The event brought together a large gathering of 130 delegates attending in person and over 10,000 delegates participating online from 1,000 locations nationwide.
Among the attendees were representatives from the Ministry of Health, the Director of the Department of Health of Dong Nai province, along with numerous representatives from Departments of Health and hospital leadership from southern provinces and cities. Their presence underscored the importance and special attention to improving the quality of nursing and intravenous therapy services.
The workshop focused on discussing the latest advancements in clinical nursing practice, particularly in safe intravenous therapy. Important topics addressed included new methods, advanced technologies, and effective strategies to enhance the quality of patient care.
In the context of the increasingly developing and advanced healthcare environment, this workshop provided a valuable opportunity for nursing professionals, nurses, doctors, and healthcare managers to exchange knowledge, experiences, and the latest insights. Additionally, it served as a platform to establish connections and collaborations among agencies, organizations, and medical equipment manufacturers, aiming towards the common goal of improving the quality of healthcare services for the community.
The workshop concluded with resounding success and a spirit of positive cooperation, marking a new milestone in the field of nursing and intravenous therapy in Vietnam.
