TRAINING ON HIGH TECHNOLOGY APPLICATIONS IN THE HERBAL MEDICINE FIELD
The Traditional Medicine Management Department, under the Vietnamese Ministry of Health, recently successfully organized training sessions in Ba Be district, Bac Kan province, on the topic of high-tech applications in the cultivation and processing of herbal medicines.
The training sessions took place from April 7th to 12th, with the participation of 120 delegates representing cooperatives in Ba Be district, Bac Kan province. The main purpose of the training was to provide guidance, education on the standard Good Agricultural and Collection Practices (GACP), and the application of high-tech methods in propagation, cultivation, and processing of herbal medicines.
Ba Be district had previously been approved for an investment project to support the implementation of precious medicinal plant cultivation by the Bac Kan Provincial People’s Committee. The project primarily utilized funds from enterprises, individuals, and national target programs, with an investment of over 220 billion VND.
This was also the first time Bac Kan province implemented a herbal medicine project with close coordination among government, businesses, people, and consumption units. This is seen as a driving force for the potential development of herbal medicine for the province in general and Ba Be district in particular.
HoaBinh Events Group had the honor of being the main organizer of the event. Let’s take a look back at some images of the preparation for the recent training sessions.
