THE INAUGURAL MEETING OF THE LEADERSHIP BOARD OF THE VIET NAM NATIONAL PLASTIC ACTION PARTNERSHIP
On March 28, HoaBinh Group successfully organized the launch ceremony of the Working Group to implement the National Action Partnership Program on Plastics (NPAP). This event is organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in collaboration with the World Economic Forum and the International Organization for Conservation of Nature.
EVENT CONTENT
Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Vo Tuan Nhan said that the goal of the program is to support the construction and implementation of a circular economy to reduce plastic waste pollution and support the implementation of other issues. Vietnam’s economic development project and strategy.
Accordingly, the program will establish, attract, and gather senior leaders of international development organizations, credit institutions, international investors, economic sectors, and social organizations in the public sector group. Cooperate in implementing the National Action Partnership Program on Plastics initiated by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment; coordinate to implement and promote the pioneering role of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in participating in and implementing international conventions and treaties and promoting bilateral and multilateral cooperation activities; and encourage public-private cooperation in plastic waste management.
In the coming time, experts and scientists in the program will conduct research and propose directions and solutions to implement a circular economy and reduce plastic waste pollution in Vietnam.
