On the evening of August 29, 2024, at the Rex Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association (HUBA), in collaboration with Sai Gon Giai Phong newspaper, solemnly held the ceremony to honor and award the title of “Green Business Ho Chi Minh City” for 2024 to 98 outstanding companies.
This year’s program attracted participation from a diverse range of businesses, with 53 companies in the manufacturing sector and 45 companies in trade, services, and real estate. The evaluation board selected entities contributing to environmental protection, complied with waste management regulations, and created eco-friendly products.
In his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Ngọc Hoa, President of HUBA, emphasized that the “Green Business Ho Chi Minh City” program, launched for the first time in 2023, aims to recognize and encourage environmentally responsible businesses. The honored companies exemplify innovative spirit and efforts in environmental protection and serve as role models within the business community.
