On November 8-9, 2024, the International Stroke Conference, themed “Stroke: A Multidisciplinary Approach and Artificial Intelligence”, took place at the National Convention Center, drawing over 1,000 in-person attendees and nearly 700 online participants. Organized by the Hanoi Stroke Association, Bach Mai Hospital, and the University of Medicine and Pharmacy (VNU), this event brought together top experts from various countries, including Italy, Singapore, India, Australia, France, Russia, the United Kingdom…
The conference presented the latest updates on stroke diagnosis and treatment, applications of AI in cerebral vascular interventions, along with in-depth techniques with high clinical relevance. This was also a proud occasion to honor Bach Mai Hospital’s Stroke Center, which is among the world’s top four medical institutions, having received 14 Diamond Awards from the World Stroke Organization through the Angels program. This initiative aims to optimize emergency stroke care by increasing the number of hospitals with high-quality stroke intervention capabilities.
