The VECONAC Business Forum, held in Hanoi from October 24-27, 2024, aims to foster connection and economic cooperation among veteran-owned enterprises across ASEAN countries. This significant event marks a new step in strengthening regional partnerships and reaffirms HBG’s solid standing as The M.I.C.E Leader in Vietnam.

On October 25, the forum’s opening ceremony welcomed Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, along with leaders from various Central Committees, Ministries, and Departments. The event was further honored by the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong, President of the Vietnam Veterans Association, and nearly 200 delegates from 10 countries, including many prominent veteran entrepreneurs from across ASEAN.

After the forum sessions, a heartfelt gala celebration brought the event to a close, with an impressive banquet and vibrant cultural performances. Traditional dances from ASEAN countries were featured, creating a memorable evening of cultural exchange.

On October 26, delegates enjoyed a remarkable cruise journey through the stunning UNESCO World Heritage site of Ha Long Bay. Later that afternoon, the group visited Hien Le Group, a prominent veteran-led business led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Bao Hien, Vice President of the Vietnamese Veteran Entrepreneurs Association. This unique opportunity allowed the delegates to learn from the achievements of a successful Vietnamese veteran-owned enterprise, strengthening regional connections and cooperation.
