On the morning of August 21, 2024, in Ha Long City (Quang Ninh Province), the Journalism Professional Development Center of the Vietnam Journalists Association organized a workshop on the theme “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on Journalism: Challenges and Opportunities.”
The workshop was attended by Mr Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, along with leaders, journalists, reporters, and editors from central and local media agencies.
During the workshop, participants engaged in lively discussions, sharing experiences and analyzing specific cases regarding how journalism can leverage AI while maintaining professional ethics and the integrity of information. The workshop also offered valuable insights into the training and development of journalists in the digital age.
