On July 24, in Can Tho City, the Department of Livestock Production (under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) successfully collaborated with the Sustainable Food Systems Agency of the Republic of Ireland to organize the Seminar “Capacity enhancement for effective biosecurity strategy development”.
This event is part of the cooperative program between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam and the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine of the Republic of Ireland. The seminar aimed to share and discuss important topics related to the agricultural sectors of the two countries within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) agreed upon by both parties in March 2023.
Attending the seminar, besides representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam and the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine of the Republic of Ireland, were experts from Ireland, officials from the Department of Livestock Production, and Mr. Conor Finn – Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Ireland to Vietnam.
The Seminar on Capacity enhancement for effective biosecurity strategy development would also be held in Hanoi on July 26.
