INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON COPYRIGHT ENFORCEMENT IN THE DIGITAL ENVIRONMENT
From June 17-27, 2024, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam, in collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIDO) and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of South Korea, will organize the International Symposium on Copyright Enforcement in the Digital Environment.
The symposium will be attended by delegates from 15 countries and territories in Southeast Asia, Africa, the Arab region, and Latin America, as well as leading experts from various international organizations.
The symposium is a great opportunity for Vietnam to:
- Update on the situation of copyright protection and enforcement, especially in the digital environment, in each country and region.
- Share trends in policy development and technological solutions to address infringements of copyright and related rights in the digital environment.
- Exchange and share experiences, and implement cooperative programs in the management and enforcement of copyright in the digital environment in the future.
- The symposium will feature 34 topics and 50 presentations from international and Vietnamese experts.
