UNFPA OFFICE RETREAT 2024: ACCELERATING PROGRESS. TOGETHER, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
In April 2024, the UNFPA (United Nations Fund Population Agency) embarked on a journey of reflection, strategic planning, and team building at their Office Retreat held in the serene setting of Ninh Binh, Vietnam. Hosted by HoaBinh Events Group, the retreat bore the theme “At midway of the CP10: Accelerating progress. Together, we can make a difference!”
Over the course of April 17th and 18th, attendees, comprising dedicated UNFPA staff members, were immersed in discussions centered around the progress of CP10 (10th Country Programme 2022-2026) and charting the strategic operational directions for the forthcoming years. These sessions not only provided valuable updates but also served as a platform to foster collaboration and synergy among teams within the organization. The goal was clear: to cultivate a safe, healthy, and psychologically conducive environment where every member could thrive and contribute effectively to the UNFPA’s mission.
Following two days of intensive work and fruitful deliberations, the entire team embarked on a memorable team-building excursion to Cuc Phuong National Park. Nestled amidst lush greenery and renowned for its rich biodiversity, the park provided an idyllic backdrop for outdoor activities aimed at promoting teamwork, camaraderie, and holistic well-being. As participants explored the park’s diverse flora and fauna, they not only rejuvenated their spirits but also forged deeper connections with one another, strengthening the bonds that underpin effective collaboration.
As we reminisce on the retreat journey with Vietnamevent, it is evident that the UNFPA Office Retreat 2024 was more than just a gathering – it was a transformative experience that reinforced the organization’s commitment to accelerating progress and making a meaningful difference in the world.
